App license agreement
The license for every app you download from Macloving.
About this license
This agreement covers every app you download from Macloving, free or membership ("the app"). It's between you and legal entity name. By installing or using an app you accept it. Our terms of service also apply.
What you may do
- Free apps: install and use the app on any Macs you own or control, for personal and work purposes.
- Membership apps: install the app on any Macs you own or control, and use its membership features on up to 2 activated Macs at a time while your membership is active.
- Make backups of the app as part of normal backups of your Mac.
What you may not do
- Redistribute, sell, rent, or share the app or its download links; please share a link to macloving.app instead.
- Get around activation, licensing or update checks, or modify the app to do so.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
- Remove copyright, trademark or license notices.
Updates
Apps update through their built-in updater. Membership apps receive updates while your membership is active. We may stop supporting older macOS versions over time; the requirements are on each app page.
Your data
Documents and data you create with an app belong to you. We never delete them, including when a membership ends. What each app does with data on your Mac is described on its app page.
Open-source components
Apps may include open-source software under its own license. Those licenses are listed in each app's About window and take precedence for those components.
Ending this license
This license ends if you break it, or for membership features when your membership ends. You can end it at any time by deleting the app.
Warranty and liability
The warranty and liability sections of our terms of service apply to the app.
